Thermal imaging to measure oil temperature?

Today I was making a batch of biofuel, here in Montrose, and needed to measure the temperature of veggie oil I had dewatering.  My thermometer wasn't working.  Instead of driving to town for a new one, I used my infrared camera.  Normally, I use my camera for residential and commercial inspections in Montrose, Scranton, Dunmore, Honesdale--all over!  Today I used it on oil.  Talk about precise measurement! My biofuel process begins with removing the water from veggie oil
