Fishing

A couple of years ago I went to a Merchant Mariner Captain's Course with a friend of mine, Dustin Walker. After weeks of the coursework, and a ton of paperwork, CPR, sea time logging, etc., we received our Captain's licenses. Several months later, we attended another course and were "promoted" to Master Captains. Dustin started a Charter business last year, and the fishing is incredible. Dustin is a real pro fisherman. What's a charter? A paid fishing trip. Trust me, the expense of the gear, a boat, etc., isn't worth the expense unless you are going to fish big water often. It's better to go on a Charter.

Check out Captain Dustin's website here: reelfieldcharters.com/. Dustin has an awesome center console (24-foot)

In November 2021, I purchased a used Grady White. After many upgrades, the "In Too Deep" (name of my vessel) finally saw big water at Lake Ontario. This year we'll be slipped on Little Soudas Bay, Fair Haven, NY. April begins fising for browns, followed by May fishing for Northern Pike. The In Too Deep will remain at Lake Ontario for the summer but I'll be fishing for striped bass on the Long Island Sound, with Dustin, June through July. I'll be on Ontario during that timeframe too, because it's just so dawg-gone beautiful, and I love being on the water. August through October will be salmon fishing. Come join us in the fun. Book a charter!
